This piece is handcrafted by local Memphian, Michael Vincent. His leather-working business is called Needle & Knife.

Michael is dedicated to only using leather that is a by-product of the meat industry in America; therefore, no animals are killed merely for their hides. Needle & Knife works directly with tanneries - primarily Wickett & Craig Tannery in Pennsylvania. Their hides are all vegetable-tanned, giving it a color that is natural and eco-friendly.

Designed for years of everyday use, the Needle & Knife Notebook Cover is a durable and adaptable tool for writers, planners, and journal keepers alike. Handcrafted from sturdy leather that develops a rich patina over time, each cover is made to age beautifully with use.

The front flap features two snap closures for security and long-lasting durability. Inside, 3 elastic bands securely hold up to 3x A5 notebooks—and the notebooks are included! This system allows you to flexibly add, remove, or swap notebooks to suit your changing needs, whether you’re journaling, sketching, planning, or taking notes on the go.
